Our Campaign: "No Plastic" Day ( Demet MERT, Evren Paşa Secondary School)

    My students chose to take action to reduce the use of single-use plastics for their ACT-2 activities.

Each partner school took action and started a campaign to reduce Climate Change. 

In this activity, we first visited the classrooms and talked about the harms of plastic use, and hung informational posters on the school corridors. 

Then, we started a campaign to reduce the use of straws, which are very difficult to recycle and cause harm to nature. We gave pencils with seeds to our students who do not buy plastic straws from the canteen except when it is compulsory.

We visited our kindergartens and gave them cardboard straws to use at breakfast time.
